This Saturday, November 26, flooding was recorded in several streets and avenues of Maracay, in the state of Aragua, after an hour of constant and heavy rainfall in the entity.

On Twitter, several network users reported flooding and the collapse of some residential areas. Inhabitants of sectors such as Base Aragua, Las Acacias, El Bosque, San Isidro, Bosque Alto and Calicanto remained attentive and tense, while the water level in the streets increased.

On Las Delicias avenue, the water entered a nearby shopping center through the stairs. Also, on Bermúdez avenue, the water exceeded the sidewalks.

According to information from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh), rainfall is expected in the states of Zulia, Mérida, Trujillo, Apure, Falcón, Barquisimeto, Yaracuy, Carabobo, Aragua, Cojedes, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Amazonas and Bolívar.
