Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) issued one Green alert for four provinces of the country, Before the rains that could generate the passage of a tropical wave that affects the national territory.
The provinces under alert are: Santo Domingo, National District, Monte Plata and San Pedro de Macoríswhere possible floods of rivers and streams are expected, as well as urban and rural floods.
According to COE, the decision responds to high humidity and instability atmospheric caused by the tropical wave, which is already causing scattered showers On eastern areas such as: the libra, the Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana and Monte Plata.
