The entity indicated that precipitation is expected during all day but with greater intensity in the afternoon and evening hours, accompanied by gusts of wind, in La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macorís, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, Samaná, Sánchez Ramírez, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez , Mirabal Sisters, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, La Vega, Monsignor Nouel, San Cristóbal, Santiago and Greater Santo Domingo.
According to the organization, the effects of the east/northeast wind on the country will also contribute to the creation of a thermal sensation pleasant and cool in combination with the time of year, which will be more noticeable at night and early morning hours towards inland towns, especially those in the mountainous areas of the Central and Northern mountain range, as well as the Neiba and Bahoruco mountain ranges. .
Until the early hours of the morning today, the Emergency Operations Center (COE) still keeps nine provinces on alert due to the rains that will affect part of the national territory.
The institution remembers that in yellow Puerto Plata, Espaillat, Duarte and María Trinidad Sánchez are located, and in green Santiago Rodríguez, Valverde, Mirabal Sisters, Monte Plata and Samaná.
