Rain on Fiestas Patrias: in which communes will it rain on September 17, 18 and 19

The National Holidays 2024 is fast approaching in Chile, and with it, the expectation of several days of celebration and rest that will extend between September 18 and 22. However, in addition to the preparations to enjoy fondas, barbecues and family events, this year some places in the country will have to pay attention to the weather forecast, as rain is projected in several communes during the holidays. The precipitation could alter outdoor plans, especially in the center and south of the country.

According to the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and NRK, the municipalities in central and southern Chile will be affected by rain between September 17 and 19. In Valparaíso, for example, rainfall is forecast. rains by September 19, with an accumulation of 8.6 millimeters. These precipitations are expected to be concentrated in the early morning and early morning, which could affect the morning events scheduled in the coastal area.
