After heavy rains affected several areas of the Tonosí Rural Hospital, after the river overflowed, the health authorities assured that they continue to provide the service to citizens, in the emergency room and the hospitalization room.
The water entered the external consultation, medical records, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing areas, without causing damage. Immediately lower the water level, cleaning and disinfection will be carried out to resume service in the aforementioned areas, but the Emergency room and the hospitalization room remain active.
