In a match that was broadcast on TV BrazilRailway and Sao Paulo did not leave 0 to 0, at the opening of the quarterfinals of the female Brasileirão.
The game, held at Fonte Luminosa, in Araraquara, São Paulo, this Saturday (9), marked the resumption of the competition after another 50 days without matches due to the Copa America dispute, won by the Brazilian team last weekend.
With the result, a draw in the duel back, next Saturday (16), in Morumbi, in São Paulo, will take the definition of the team classified to the semifinals for penalties. Who wins in the 90 minutes advances.
This Saturday’s game showed two teams with great difficulty in creating real opportunities for danger. The goalkeepers Luciana, from Ferroviária, and Carlinha, from São Paulo, did not make major interventions. Micaelly was the one who gave the most work for the Grenás warriors while Tricolor had the opportunity with Bia Menezes.
In the second half, early on, the scenario seemed to change, with the good arrival of Isa, who forced Luciana to put to the corner in difficult defense. However, what was seen for the rest of the final stage was the same difficulty in turning the arrival into the attack on goal opportunities. The goalless score was suitable for what was displayed.
Prior to the definition of the semifinal place, the two teams return to the field in the middle of the week for the Paulista Championship. On Tuesday (12), Railway visits Corinthians, at 18h. The next day, São Paulo receives the young reality at the same time.
