Military troops raided two properties allegedly linked to a drug trafficking group whose leadership is attributed to César Augusto Camacaro Hoyos, according to military sources.
Search warrant 1CS-13.830-23 was executed by agents attached to the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit No. 31 at the Portuguesa Timber Company (Emapoca) and the Vega Honda farm, located on the Suruguapo road, Guanare municipality, in the aforementioned llanera entity.
Both properties are linked to Camacaro Hoyos, who is required for illicit drug trafficking, criminal association and money laundering, explained a judicial source. In the aforementioned properties, the military seized 420 livestock of the bovine species, 80 goats, 28 pigs and 15 horses.
They also seized two stamps from the Portuguese Lumber company, a non-industrially manufactured shotgun, six 12-gauge cartridges, a checkbook in the name of José Gregorio Camacaro Borges, rif: V-109732016, four Caterpillar machines for deforestation, four tractors, two plants electrical equipment, a seeder, a Triton truck, 300 bags of cement, a sprinkler for an agricultural tractor, a fertilizer spreader for corn and damaged grass, twelve tractor tires, a Caterpillar engine and a truck livestock cage.
Other raids
This is the third raid carried out by the military on properties linked to Camacaro Hoyos. On January 27, agents from the Regional Anti-Drug Intelligence Unit raided a farm located in Las Colinas de Araurima, Jacura municipality, Falcón state, military sources said.
At that farm, they seized 790 cartridges of various calibers and three firearms: two 12-gauge shotguns and a 7.57-caliber Eduard Kaattenerkoln rifle, the report says.
Likewise, they confiscated a two-story house, an inn with twelve rooms, a shed, a cowgirl, a galley with a shed, a restaurant, 157 bovine animals, 12 coleus horses, 100 roosters of different breeds used for fights. , 59 hens and 30 pullets of different breeds, according to documents. Security agencies continue to search for Camacaro Hoyos.
