Some young people, who were sitting and enjoying an ice cream, made him notice by questioning the authorities for such carelessness.

“We are in the Plaza de la Constitución, the most important in the city and it is not possible for it to be like this, we ask the authorities to improve this situation, tourists come here and we as residents of Huancayo is where we go the most,” Felipe claimed. Gamboa Villar.

The person in charge of parks and gardens of the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo, Reynaldo Cuba, stated that the Huanca commune cannot maintain the benches, since the remodeling work of the Plaza de la Constitución is in arbitration with the construction company, then of the last remodeling in the management of the former mayor of Huancayo, Alcides Chamorro Balvín. He recalled that in 2018, the square was opened due to population pressure, but now they only maintain the gardens.

“Neither the municipality nor the construction company can intervene in the work, until the judicial issue is resolved, that is why the square is abandoned, the pools do not work either,” the official stressed, regarding the conditions.
