The Buenos Aires municipality of Trenque Lauquen will raffle bicycles, cell phones and tablets to stimulate vaccination among children and young people against the coronavirus and ensure that more students are immunized before the start of the next school year.
The mayor of that party, Miguel Fernández, announced the draw for ten bicycles, five tablets and five cell phones “in search of encouraging vaccination” against the coronavirus to “reach a greater number of vaccinated people, especially thinking about the start of classes.”
“The idea of the municipality is to encourage and reward the kids who sign up to get vaccinated,” said Fernandez.
In this way, starting next Tuesday, a registry will be opened on the municipality’s website, where they will find a form that they must complete with name and surname, DNI, date of birth and date of vaccination.
While, once classes begin, before a notary public and transmitted by the official social networks of Trenque Lauquen, the respective draw will be held.
The vaccination process “is quick and simple, it doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t cause problems, it protects us and we can start classes calmer, and with this idea we want to give a little push to those who are a little behind,” Fernandez remarked in a statement. of press.
