SANTO DOMINGO.- The leader of the People’s Force Rafael Paz denounced on social networks that an unknown person tried to rob his house early today.
Rafael Paz reported that he fell asleep in the study of his residence and woke up when he heard the noise of the curtains. He tells that the thief ran away when he saw him.
“A thief has just entered my house. I fell asleep in the den and the sliding curtains make noise and woke me up. He was terrified when he saw me. We saw each other face to face,” Paz said in a Twitter message.
The also former senator for the National District assured that the criminal did not steal anything.
Despite the circumstances and the hard time he had to live, the political leader said he was fine and that he did not attack him, however, he questioned in the same message the Comprehensive Citizen Security Strategy “My Safe Country” implemented by the current government to fight crime.
“Nothing was stolen. I’m fine. A misfortune could have happened. And so they talk to me about a safe country?
