The former president of Osiptel, Javier moveshe denounced that he faces an irregular process promoted from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), Although three instances already dismissed accusations against him.
Muendo explained that the case originated when, after promoting the prohibition of the ambulatory sale of chips, he was accused – by an anonymous mail – having addressed Osiptel to finance a high -direction course he carried out in the University of Piura. However, as he said, both the Comptroller and the Public Ministry determined that there was no irregularity.
Even so, the PCM opened a new administrative procedure that resulted in its suspension for a year without enjoyment. This allowed the designation of a temporary president, Anívar Rodríguezwho – according to moving – rearranged the management team and executed layoffs in Osiptel. After his reinstatement ordered to serve, he continued with the campaign against the ambulatory sale of Chips, however this changed with the new process against him.
“Virtually my entire management team was fired or moved from area,” he said. In addition, he questioned that during that period the institution issued an opinion against the bill that sought to establish criminal responsibility for those who sell chips in the streets. “Unusually, when Osiptel had fought a campaign against outpatient sale, he positioned himself against that initiative,” he said.
Muendo considers that this change responded to business interests: “During that period, he realized the capture of interests that were positioned at that time in Osiptel,” he said. He added that it is not a legal issue, but political: “The legal is the excuse. From my point of view, this is clearly a political issue.”
