The mayor of Lima, Rafael Lopez Aliaga He is in the city of Washington DC where he participates as a guest at the inauguration of the president of the United States, Donald Trump.
Prior to the ceremony taking place in the Capitol, the mayor met with David F Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and cryptocurrency advisor to the new Republican president.
López Aliaga was also present at the gala dinner offered for the republican takeover.
The mayor is one of the nearly 600 guests at the inauguration ceremony in which the former presidents of the United States, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, the prime minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni and the Vice President of China, Han Zheng.
Also present at the Capitol are Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, among other personalities.
