Rafael López Aliaga accuses NGO Manuela Ramos of stealing a million dollars from USAID

Rafael López Aliagacurrent mayor of Lima, spoke about his proposal to create a commission in Congress that prosecute the alleged beneficiaries of USAID financing in Peru.

The popular renewal politician mentioned that the feminist NGO Manuela Ramos would have been part of these beneficiaries and assured that this “has stolen” the Peruvian people.

“I am looking for the truth of how the funds that were for social assistance have been stolen from the Peruvian people. For example, Manuela Ramos, a specific case, steals the town for more than 1 million dollars of the 1.4 million it received,” assured on Channel N.

According to López Aliaga, that million dollars would have been used to pay forms and not to help the “needy”, so he considers that it is something that “is not fair.”

In the same way, the burgomaster accused different means of receiving money and said that it “needs to explain” why they were financed by the United States.
