Santo Domingo. – He former rector of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), Rafael Félizrejected any connection with the complaints about alleged coordinated attacks on social networks towards public profilesafter having been disengaged of the house of higher studies due to accusations of bad ethical practices in the institution.
In a statement released on platform N Digital and The Witness These are practices that categorically rejects and that they have no relationship with him or with people linked to his environment.
“It is evident that, in a position of high public exposure, acting in such a reckless manner would be absurd,” he added.
Féliz also pointed out that, although an attempt is made to present him as a “natural suspect,” that image responds “more to a narrative that third parties maliciously seek to construct than to the reality of the facts.”
Finally, he recommended that profiles that are considered victims of this type of attacks resort to the mechanisms available in the competent institutions, so that determine the origin of these actions with the corresponding rigor.
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinaderdismissed Rafael Féliz as rector of ITLA through the Decree 39-26after the complaint of alleged irregular charges to employees of the institution to allegedly finance the political movement “Youth United for Change”presented by the journalist Nuria Piera in the N Investiga program.
