The former president of the Confederation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Conapyme), rafael cumsilleclarified that he left the position he held – president of Conapyme – after the act of the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric.
To remember that Cumsille was accused of making a “encerrona” to the President, after he asked the audience present at the meeting about those who were concerned about crime. After receiving responses by a show of hands, he reiterated the question, urging people to stand up. At that moment, a tense exchange was seen between the Head of State and a present, whom Boric asked for respect.

Referring to the episode with the President, Cumsille explained that they wanted to pay tribute to Carabineros de Chile, because for him, if crime is unleashed and there is no support for the uniformed men, there will be no defense, so the attendees asked for recognition of the institution.
Likewise, he clarified that at no time did he see Boric upset, he even detailed that people applauded him when his arrival was announced, and except for one person who asked him about the constitution, he has no major objections to what happened.
Finally, he shared his appreciation of the Head of State, maintaining that he is a young person and that he has a lot to know about his position. This is because -in his opinion- Boric is not a politician of many years like other leaders, who were senators, ministers, chancellors. “I didn’t see him leave in a huff, not at all. He left in peace and people applauded when he said goodbye,” he closed.
