Santo Domingo.- The political leader Radhamés González asked this weekend the militancy of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), in Santo Domingo Oeste, to support the package of reforms promoted by President Luis Abinader, especially the fiscal one, which will be presented this Monday to the country.
González said that it is important to take to the streets in defense of these proposals that will be heard in the National Congress, and not oppose them, because they seek the well-being of the Dominican Republic.
“It has been more than 20 years since a comprehensive tax reform should have been carried out in the country, and what previous governments have done is a patch,” he said.
He stated that with the tax reform, President Abinader intends to make the necessary adjustments in order to guarantee sustainable and equitable economic development of the nation.
ADP Elections
Radhamés González spoke of the importance of the Teachers Association (ADP) being led by a person from the party, which is why he urged active teachers to be encouraged to vote at the national level for the candidate Norberto Ortíz, and at the municipal level for Pedro Familia, both in box two of the ballot.
The general administrator of the OMSA spoke at a meeting with PRM leaders held in the multipurpose room of Ciudad Agraria, which was based on two axes: municipal politics and the ADP elections.
