“The Minister of Education if something has been consistent in something since it was sworn in has not led to a single moment of advent, peace, sine qua non condition to guarantee success in educational matters,” said Camacho in response to journalists They presented the subject.
He indicated that «Teacher performance evaluation is not to pursue. It is not to create mutiny. It is not to lead. It is to assume those results and see the weaknesses and turn them into strength and define improvement action plans ».
He pointed out that the performance evaluation is regulated in departmental order 14-2017, where conditions, scales, regulations, the process with which teachers and teachers are evaluated are established.
He also said that the Dominican Association of Teachers has been tolerant and has demonstrated his will that teaching is not interrupted: «The ADP has acted with a high level of tolerance, without hesitation. That is the history of teaching. That is the story of the ADP, ”he said.
Meanwhile, from the ADP they call the Ministry of Education to agree with them the terms in which the evaluation of teaching performance that is aimed at more than 120 thousand teachers will be applied, as well as to directors of centers, counselors, regional and technical directors.
