Racing Club and Tigre tied 2-2 in a match played this Sunday at the Cilindro de Avellaneda and valid for the third day of the Professional Football League (LPF).

The “Academy” took the lead with Maximiliano Romero’s goal, while for Victoria’s “Matador” Brian Leizza matched, after 11 and 19 minutes of the first stage, respectively.

Gabriel Hauche and Matero Retegui converted in the complement, at 4 and 10 minutes, for the local and the visit.

The start of the match was even with two teams that did not encourage having the leading role and that lent themselves the ball in the midfield, however, little by little both gained confidence and each had a chance to start encouraging the development of the match before of the five minutes.

The process of the game went back and forth with both teams focused on attacking and without being stingy with the football proposal.

At minute 11, Gabriel Hauche’s precise cross from the left was headed in by center forward Maximiliano Romero to open the scoring.

Three minutes later, the visit, with controversy, achieved the tie after a cross from the left that Abel Luciatti headed in and that Brian Leizza deflected with a touch that threw Arias off balance.

Despite the efforts of Racing’s “Uno”, who took the ball over the line in what was the most controversial play, and after five minutes of analysis, the goal was validated at the request of the VAR at 19 minutes.

After Tigre’s equalizer, which was repudiated by coach Fernando Gago and the local party, the “Albiceleste” team took the ball, became the owner of the midfield, was vertical and created several goal situations that made goalkeeper Gonzalo Marinelli become the figure of the first stage.

Gago’s team took advantage of the speed of rookie Gabriel Rojas on the left, an area in which the “demon” Hauche also stood out, and also on the right with Matias Rojas as the best player of the “Academy” during the first stage.

At the beginning of the second half, Racing came out convinced to look for the rival goal and achieved it after three minutes thanks to Hauche’s goal that hit the ball after a deflection in the area and after an attack led by Romero.

The “Matador” was not far behind and six minutes later, after an attack with several headers in Racing’s area, Mateo Retegui dominated the ball to define with class and put the tie for his team.

After the tie, the match was intense again, with two teams that were vertical, lent each other the ball, in several sections with inaccuracies and fatigue, they played close to the rival goal and had chances to win, although without being able to be effective. so the tie ended up being the fairest.

On the next day (4th.) Racing will visit Arsenal de Sarandí, while Tigre will receive River Plate, on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
