A woman who allegedly served as administrator of the criminal organization founded by Carlos Enrique Gómez Rodríguez (El Conejo) was captured by agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas), according to military sources.
The detainee is Marilys Yelitza Campos Paredes, who was captured in La Victoria (Aragua) and when verified, it turned out to be requested by the 2nd Special National Court of Control with Jurisdiction in Terrorism, for crimes associated with corruption and organized crime.
And in San Mateo (Aragua), the military detained José González Meléndez, from whom they seized 53 cartridges for 7.62 x 39 caliber rifles. The subject was handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for illegal possession of ammunition.
Alias El Conejo was killed on March 28 during a police deployment in Irapa, Sucre state.
Cartridges destined for rifles were also seized in municipalities of Miranda. For example, in the Nogal sector, Paz Castillo municipality (Santa Lucía), agents attached to Detachment 442 of the Bolivarian National Guard seized fifteen cartridges for 7.62 x 39 mm caliber rifles which were being transported by Anderson José Cortez Valderrama, a member of the criminal group El Andy.
Also in this municipality of Valles del Tuy, but in the San Vicente sector, a radio transmitter, two pistol magazines and 34 9 mm caliber cartridges were seized, material that was in the possession of Kevin Gabriel Segreda Díaz, a member of the criminal organization Cachete.
And in the Los Cerritos sector, Acevedo municipality (Caucagua), officials from the GNB Rural Commando Detachment 44-2 seized 25 9 mm caliber cartridges and a radio transmitter. In this procedure, Lewis Deimon González, a member of the Negro Feo criminal group, was arrested.
The little toad
In Bolívar, but in the La Mona sector, Bolivarian municipality of Angostura (Ciudad Piar), they arrested seven members of the criminal organization El Sapito, from whom five shotguns and a Toyota Tacoma, license plates A32A19U, which is requested by the Theft and Vehicle Theft Investigation Axis of Cicpc Anzoátegui, dated 02/01/2020, according to file K-20-0456-00080.
In Monagas state, Las Piñas sector, Aragua de Maturín, the military seized four 12-gauge shotguns, which were in the possession of members of the criminal group Los Guayaneses, identified as Leonardo José Cabello and Tomás Farias Campos. The detainees were handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office where they will be charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
