The president of the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), Federico Antún Batlle (Quique), declared today that the doors of that organization are open for those who want to return, but that they must do so in compliance with the process established by the higher bodies of the political entity. .
“The PRSC is open to anyone who wants to return, naturally, it must be done respecting the principles and values of the organization and the established procedures,” he said.
He stressed that with this opening what is sought is a reunion “of all those who feel they are reformers at heart, to work together to strengthen the party and promote the fundamental issues of the organization and Dominican society.”
Among these issues, the reformist leader cited the demand for a strong migration policy, a clear, precise and decisive border wall, “and a process of changing the economic model in order to combat poverty, and not as has happened in the last 25 years , that the wealth of the country has increased, but the misery of the Dominican people has increased”.
“Embracing these issues and others such as environmental protection and citizen security, which have been the banners of reformism, is essential to be part of our organization, as well as respecting the due process established by the Presidential Directorate for all those who want to rejoin the party,” he added.
Quique Antún stated that the Reformist Party is also coming struggling “so that we return to that policy of social assistance to the poorest, generating through INESPRE the price controls of the products of the basic basket to benefit this segment of the population, which represents the majority of the people.”
“Anyone who identifies with what we are proposing and who comes to respect the institution, its principles, values, beliefs, behaves in a joint manner and complies with the process established by the higher bodies, we open the doors of the party for them”, emphasized.
Regarding this process established by the Presidential Directorate as a requirement to return to the PRSC, Quique Antún explained that the interested party must write a letter to that governing body explaining the reasons that motivate you to rejoin the party, “And how do you want to return and in what area or demarcation of the national territory is you in a position to carry out partisan work for the sake of strengthening the organization.”
The president of the Game Reformista spoke about the issue when he was approached by journalists outside the main headquarters of that political organization, located on Avenida Tiradentes, in the capital, when he was preparing to go to Las Américas International Airport to travel to the United States.
