The governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, presented this Thursday a criminal complaint against Supreme Court adviser Silvio Robles and the Buenos Aires Security Minister on leave, Marcelo D’Alessandro, “for being responsible for the crimes of influence peddling and violation of duties as public officials of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation and the Government of CABA”. ⁣

This was announced by the provincial president through his Twitter account, where he also denounced that the “collusion” between Together for Change and the highest court of justice “was exposed” and is “inadmissible within the framework of a Rule of Law “.

“The facts are publicly known and refer to the dissemination of text messages that would correspond to a conversation carried out by telephone between the accused, the content of which constitutes conduct prohibited by their status as public officials.”Quintela specified.

And he pointed out that “these disseminated messages show the alleged links that the Buenos Aires Minister maintained with Silvio Robles, General Director of Minister Rosatti’s committee, who in practice officiates as his spokesperson and person of his highest confidence for years.”

“The collusion between the two was exposed in the published chats, they show that the judicial resolutions and pronouncements of Minister Horacio Rosatti (president of the Supreme Court of Justice), through Robles, developed political operations executed through arbitrary judicial rulings” , he stressed.

In this sense, Quintela noted that “thehe coexistence between that political space and the Supreme Court of Justice is as evident as it is inadmissible within the framework of a Rule of Law in which the Judiciary must be guided by the guiding principles that make judicial independence and impartiality. All these principles were openly endorsed by the president of the High Court, Rosatti”.

The provincial president highlighted that “the chats published by the press reveal that there have been coordinated maneuvers in which court rulings were negotiated to benefit said political alliance” and warned that “the network of corruption is part of a system of links and favors that transcend the strictly legal and are projected on the political and the personal enrichment of the parties”.

“The predominance of CABA and in particular of the PRO Party is a concerted legal-partisan construction between political and legal operators that converge judicial resolutions agreed upon outside the legal system and intends to govern the actions of the Government of the powers,” he asserted.

Finally, Quintela stated: “Enough of the abuse of the Argentine people! We must seek genuine federalization, with the participation of all the provinces that make it up, and that each one of these self-proclaimed officials leave, so that the Argentine people can once again trust in justice”.

Last week D’Alessandro was linked to a scandal over the dissemination of alleged chats in which exchanges are observed with Silvio Robles, collaborator of the president of the Supreme Court, Horacio Rosatti, and with the businessman Marcelo Violante, in charge of the concession of the vehicle hauling system in the city of Buenos Aires until a few weeks ago.

For these issues, judicial investigations were initiated, while as a result of the leaks D’Alessandro filed a criminal complaint for the hacking of his cell phone.
