No district of the province of Yauli -La Oroya has been considered in the Supreme Decree No. 007-2025 of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) published on January 10 in the official newspaper El Peruano, which has declared ten districts of the Junín region in emergency due to imminent danger due to intense rains, including five in the province of Huancayo, four in the province of Chanchamayo, three in the province of Jauja and one in the provinces of Concepción, Tarma and Junín, each one.

Although it is true that the supreme decree indicates that the implementation of the planned actions will be financed from the institutional budget of the districts, it does give the power for the mayors to carry out procedures before the Regional Government, the National Institute of Civil Defense, the Ministry of Health, Housing, Construction and Sanitation, the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, and other public and private institutions under its jurisdiction.
The provinces of Chupaca and especially the province of Satipo, which suffers intense rains, are in the Supreme Decree
