Qik Banco Digital obtiene premio Effie Latinoamérica

Qik Banco Digital Dominicano, SA – Banco Múltiple, a subsidiary of Grupo Popular and the country’s first neobank, was awarded a silver award in the David vs. category. Goliat for its campaign “Stop cheating with Qik”.

The Effie Latin America Awards recognize the most effective campaigns in the region in the field of marketing and advertising, emphasizing the effectiveness of ideas and their execution strategies.

The category “David vs. Goliath” is aimed at emerging companies that, thanks to their innovative communication initiatives, manage to consolidate themselves in the market, challenging already established competitors and achieving an outstanding positioning.

The commercial “Cocotu” portrays the reality of people who need access to credit, but cannot obtain it due to lack of credit history. In this narrative, Qik transforms this situation by providing financial inclusion through its Crea Crédito program.

The campaign, created by Pagés BBDO in collaboration with OMD Dominicana, used friendly language that reflects the daily life of Dominicans, managing to increase credit card applications through its qik.do website by 58%.

Additionally, the video reached more than 260 million impressions and reached more than 5 million people on social networks.
