More details and characters are added to the corruption plot in Qali Warma that poisoned several children from low-income schools in the country. On this occasion, the Prosecutor’s Office warned that a married couple received 215 thousand soles in exchange for illegally favoring the Frigoinca company, so that it could distribute its canned “Don Simón”, which did not meet the health needs for its consumption.

They are Deyvis Espinoza Mendoza, an official from the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis) in charge of verifying the quality of the products that Qali Warma acquired, and his wife Alejandra Pazos Cribillero, a worker from the Ministry of Health (Minsa) whose task was certify the conditions under which the product was manufactured.
The complaint, made public by End Pointstates that Espinoza designed the technical sheets of the products that Qali Warma acquired, that is, the details of the inputs, characteristics and composition of the preserves. These tokens were custom made in exchange for huge amounts of money.
Espinoza would have received S/60 thousand through bank transfers to the account of his mother-in-law, Inés Cribillero Luna. For her part, Alejandra Pazos would have issued certificates from Digesa that guaranteed the healthiness of Frigoinca’s industrial processes.
A second transfer also of S/60 thousand would have been made on September 28, 2024, through Delia Zavaleta Garay, manager of Froginca, at the Sarcletti restaurant in La Molina, and was intended to include the product “dried meat” in the 2025 school menu.
