The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) awarded – through Resolution No. 3,102/22 – the Tender with ID No. 420266 – “Infrastructure as a service for the operation of the Control and Monitoring System of the National Electronic Ticketing System”.
The winning firm was E-Servis SRL with an offer of G. 1,069,000,000amount that includes Value Added Tax (VAT).
The objective of this contract is to optimize all the Electronic Ticketing Control and Monitoring System through the provision of products and/or services for virtualization, connectivity and monitoring, as well as the installation, migration, start-up and documentation of the entire platform.
In this regard, the Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) has implemented Electronic Ticketing, in accordance with the provisions of Law 5230/2014, and to maintain the expected operating levels, it acquired a platform for Control and Monitoring that allows it to carry out its tasks as an Enforcement and Control Authority.

SCOPE OF WORK
The awarded firm must provide all the necessary services so that the Electronic Ticketing Control and Monitoring platform of the VMT works continuously and can be operated and monitored from the Control and Monitoring Center based in the city of Asunción , and remotely by the technical staff of the aforementioned institution. It must include monitoring services to verify the operation of the platform.
In addition, it must provide all the necessary services to migrate the infrastructure services platform where it currently works, fully documenting everything done and including the technical staff of the VMT Innovation and Development Coordination.
The migration includes the initial installation of the servers, the complete copy of the data, the start-up of the services in the new platform, the documentation of the tasks and the configurations carried out, and once the platform is functional, Optimize services based on what is contracted as infrastructure.
It should be mentioned that this call had two bidders and its execution period is 12 months.
