Notorious art collector—among her collection was the Uruguayan artist Pedro Figari—, passed away in February 2012, at the age of 90. In 2007, “Amalí,” as she liked to be called, had sold her cement empire to the Brazilian group Camargo Correa for more than $1 billion.

The new private neighborhood will have 11 lots. A few months ago, the preliminary works and the commercialization of the land began. “They are lots of 1,400 m2 each on average. We have already sold five lots and on Friday we will make the official launch,” added the real estate businessman.
The lots where Amalita’s former residence is located are marketed together for a total value of US$ 1,400,000. “We still don’t have a buyer. Not only is the land for sale, but the house, which needs to be restored,” said the developer.
The house where the former owner of Loma Negra spent every summer has a total of 600 m2. It is simple but has the stamp of its architect, Dubourg: tiled roofs, wooden floors and spacious rooms. It has an internal elevator and category details.
The price of the lots
The lots, with an average of 1400 m2, have a value of US$ 480 per m2. That is, they are marketed at a value of between US$650,000 and US$700,000, depending on their location.
“Our clients seek the tranquility of green areas and the contact with the nature. But we also offer amenities and exclusive services”, indicated the developer.
