In the last few hours, three traffic accidents have occurred on the region’s roads, with the unfortunate result of three people dead and five injured.
A car went off track and fell into a 100-meter abyss, approximately, causing the death of one person and one injured, which occurred on the road from Cuticarca to Coasa, in the province of Carabaya.
According to official sources, the driver of the car – not yet identified – died instantly, as he was trapped inside the vehicle.
It is also reported that another person was injured in the accident and was taken to the Coasa health center for medical attention. They are believed to be members of a family.
ON THE JULIACA-AREQUIPA ROAD
Another accident occurred at kilometer 214 of the Juliaca-Arequipa highwayin the Rumitía sector, where a vehicle skidded and overturned, causing the death of a woman and four injured.
The staff of the Santa Lucía district police station went to the scene. There they found the wrecked unit with license plate B8Z-244, driven by Jaime Franco Contreras (28).
According to the police, in addition to the driver, the following people were injured: María Fernanda Tello Condori (21), Fernando Manuel Condori Rodríguez (29) and the minor with the initials IFT (01).
Authorities reported that the deceased person was identified as Jeniffer Fernanda Tello Condori (27). The body was admitted to the Santa Lucía morgue.
ACCIDENT
On Saturday morning, in the town of San Isidro in the district of San Antón, province of Azángaro, the body of a man was found who was probably run over by vehicles traveling on the Interoceanic Highway.
