The relatives of the ten victims of the fire that occurred in Huancané (Puno) walked the streets of the city carrying the coffins and demanding justice for the tragedy.

The funeral caravan also reached the higher pedagogical institute where eight of the deceased were studying, amid expressions of pain and requests for responsibility from the authorities.

Meanwhile, forensic doctors from the Public Ministry carry out the formal recognition and official identification of the bodies, a procedure that is carried out in the presence of the prosecutor on duty. Outside the hospital morgue, dozens of people remain concentrated accompanying the families on a day marked by shock and mourning.

In the morning, the mourners went to the municipal premises to demand explanations from Mayor Valerio Tapia and his officials, whom they questioned for allowing the operation of the establishment without the corresponding license.
