Police from the Criminal Investigation Area of Juliaca arrested three people to investigate the murder of young Royer Quispe Guzmán, whose lifeless body was found at kilometer 13 of the Santa Rosa-Nuñoa road, in the province of Melgar.
Relatives said the unfortunate citizen had been missing since August 14, after attending a patronal festival in the district. After an intense search, the lifeless body was found on August 31.
After finding evidence, the police arrested three people who were identified as: Rafael Huallipe Huarca (33), Miguel Luis Huallipe Huarca (27) and Raúl Guzmán Hallasi (19). They would be relatives of the deceased.
The prosecutor of the province of Melgar requested the Court to pre-emptively detain the alleged perpetrators for a period of 7 days. Previously, they carried out a search and unlocking of the home located on Jirón Manco Cápac in Ayaviri where they arrested the suspects.
PNP General Moisés Candia Haro, head of the Puno police region, said that during the 7 days various proceedings will be carried out to determine the responsibilities of each of them. He added that at the moment there are testimonies that indicate that the victim was having an argument with the alleged murderers.
Likewise, OFICRI PNP Juliaca personnel, within the preliminary proceedings, carried out the luminol reagent application test in order to find hematological remains (blood) in the property on Jirón Manco Cápac.
