The Preparatory Investigation Court of Desaguadero, province of Chucuito, issued nine months of preventive detention against Luz Marina Suero Condori, who is being investigated for the alleged crime of homicide in the form of patricide, to the detriment of Donato Moisés Poma Aguilar, who was her cohabitant.
According to the facts presented during the hearing, on December 10, after attending his daughter’s promotion party, an argument arose motivated by alleged jealousy. The next day, already at the family home, the argument would have worsened, circumstance in which the person under investigation would have attacked the injured party with a knife, inflicting several stab wounds, which caused his death.
The coercive measure was ordered after the evaluation of the elements of conviction presented by the Public Ministry, as well as compliance with the legal assumptions established in the Criminal Procedure Code, referring to the seriousness of the crime, the prognosis of the sentence and the procedural risks.
After the ruling, The court ordered the internment of the investigated person in the Lampa Women’s Penitentiary Establishment, while investigations are carried out.
