Unknown persons placed a grenade and an extortion note inside the vehicle with license plate Z6H-404 owned by Major PNP Miguel Ángel Aranda, head of the Emergency Unit.

The car was parked at the Santa Rosa police complex, headquarters of the Emergency Unit in the city of Juliaca.
Following the complaint, the staff of the Criminal Investigation Area and the Explosive Deactivation Unit (UDEX) arrived at the scene and inside the vehicle They found a manila envelope containing a pineapple-type grenade, an extortion note and a powdered substance of different colors.
Also, a note was collected with clippings of letters pasted on a white bond sheet forming the words “Miki drone last warning leave UNEME we are Legion”.
Police officers from various specialized units and the prosecutor on duty, Paul Carrión Velásquez, are carrying out a series of investigations to clarify this incident.
