The Preparatory Investigation Court of Huancané issued 18 months of preventive detention against José Javier Huanca Coila and Rosa Yamira Nahomi Quispe Aquise, investigated for the alleged crime of simple intentional homicide by improper omission, to the detriment of the legal heirs of the young people burned in the province of Huancané.
During the hearing, It was learned that the victims had been locked up during the fire and that, far from receiving help from those responsible for the establishment, they did not obtain the necessary assistance. Likewise, it was reported that the premises operated without an operating license, a situation that increasedtook the risk for those who were inside.
After evaluating the elements of conviction, the Court ordered that José Huanca Coila be admitted to the penitentiary establishment determined by the competent authority, while the capture of Rosa Quispe Aquise, as she was found in an undocumented capacity.
The investigation will continue in order to clarify the circumstances of the fire and the corresponding criminal responsibilities.
As is remembered, The fire occurred on December 4 in a karaoke located in the Lima district of Huancané, where 10 people died, 8 of them Pedagogical students.
