The Pumas UNAM Mexicans celebrated Wednesday that the sports arbitration court (Tasfor its acronym in French) failed in his favor and validated the termination of the former Brazilian soccer player Dani Alves.
“The National University Club, AC, reports that on September 1, 2025, the arbitral award issued by the Arbitral Sports Court (TAS) was notified, within the framework of the contractual dispute between the club and the player Daniel Alves da Silva,” explained the seven -time champion of Mexico in a press release.
The TAS revoked a decision of the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, issued on May 15, 2024, and ratified the termination of the Alves contract, former Spanish FC player.
Felines terminated Alves’s contract when the authorities captured the player in January 2023, born 42 years ago in Juazeiro, after being accused of raping a woman In a Barcelona disco. Finally, he was sentenced to four and a half years in prison.
