Through his Facebook account, the former president of the Potosinista Civic Committee (Comcipo), Marco Pumari, asked those who support him to ask for “all the people who harm us.” He did so while he is still detained in the Uncía prison, despite the fact that on December 21 a judge ordered his transfer to the Cantumarca prison.
“I want to ask you to pray for God for all the people who need it most, and especially for all the people who today harm us, so that God touches their hearts and gives (them) peace in their lives,” it reads Pumari’s message.
Similarly, the former Comcipo leader and former vice-presidential candidate for Creemos calls for “unity” to be a “decisive factor” for the country’s transformations.

“That reconciliation and forgiveness reach their hearts and especially that unity be the decisive factor that leads us to the great transformations that Bolivia needs,” says his post.
Pumari continues to be detained since the beginning of December 2021, accused of allegedly having participated in the burning of the Departmental Electoral Tribunal (TED) of Potosí, after the failed election process of 2019, which ended up being annulled.
He is in the Uncía prison, despite the fact that the court determined that he be transferred to the Cantumarca prison. This Saturday, his defense publicly denounced that there is a “manipulation” on the part of the Directorate of Penitentiary Regime of Potosí to influence the judge of the case and that the transfer is avoided.
