At the end of April, according to the latest Pulso Ciudadano survey, President Gabriel Boric obtained an approval of 24.2%, 3.6 points less in relation to the approval of the first half of April (27.8%), and a disapproval of 57.8%, 6.8 points higher in relation to the disapproval of the first fortnight of April (51.0%). 17.9% do not know how to evaluate their management.
With the information that citizens know, up to now, according to the survey, 40.5% of the population would be rejecting (3.7 points more in relation to the previous measurement) the draft of the New Constitution to be presented by the Constitutional Convention. 29.1% would approve (3.1 points less in relation to the previous measurement) and 30.4% still do not know.
The study indicates that 55% of the population declares that they are very decided/decided about the option they will vote for in the Plebiscite on September 4. 17.9% are moderately decided and 27.1% declare that they are not at all/little decided yet.
60.4% of the population declares that they are very interested/interested in the Exit Plebiscite on September 4. 19% are moderately interested, and 20.6% are slightly/not at all interested.
Regarding the expectations of which option will win in the Plebiscite on September 4, 37.1% believe that the rejection option will win. 29.4% believe that the I approve option will win, and 33.5% declare that they do not know.
55.2% of those consulted by Pulso Ciudadano declare that they have little or no confidence in the work being carried out by the Constitutional Convention. 24.7% have medium confidence and 20.1% state that they have a lot of confidence/confidence.
According to the survey, the country’s main problems, in the opinion of citizens, are: Inflation/Rise in prices 42.9%, Delinquency 36.8%, Salaries 21.2%, and Pensions 18.1%.
52.2% of the population declares that the country’s economic situation is bad/very bad. 37.8% declare that it is regular and 8.9% consider it very good/good.
49.8% of the population considers that Chile is moving in the wrong direction, considering economic, value, political, and social aspects. 21.7% consider that it is moving in the right direction and 28.5% are not sure in which direction it is moving.
