The Ministry of Public Works, through the National Entity for Water and Sanitation Works (Enohsa), carries out 1,324 water and sanitation works and projects, in coordination with provincial and local governments, so that more than 10 million people have access to these services and generate 17,208 jobs.
Through the Federal Sanitation Program (Profesa), 32 drinking water and sanitation works have already been completed that extended the service to 116,207 people in the provinces of Entre Ríos, Santa Fe, La Pampa, La Rioja, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Formosa and Misionesreported the national portfolio.
The expansion of the Greater Mendoza sanitation system stands out; the work on the sewerage network in the Pampas city of Santa Rosa; the drinking water supply project in Villa Escolar, Formosa; the expansion of the sewage network in the city of Reconquista in Santa Fe; access to water service in the provinces of Santiago del Estero, Tucumán and Misiones.
These works made it possible to enable 4,126 new home drinking water connections; 1,288 of sanitation and execution of 78,146 meters of pipes.
Besides, already there are 40 works and projects in execution under this program, six about to start and 93 that are tenderedwhich will allow 436,515 home connections to be made over the next two years and generate more than 12,000 direct and indirect jobs.
On the other hand, works are nearing completion of the Second Aqueduct for the Interior of Chacoto which is added the expansion and modernization of the Bajo Grande plant, in Cordova; and the sanitation networks in Alderete and Banda del Río Salí, the San Andrés Treatment Plant in Tucuman; and the Laguna Blanca drinking water supply system in Formosa.
Meanwhile, the Treatment Plant of the town of El Paramillo, in the province of mendoza; a New Coastal Collector is built in the city of Bariloche, Black river; and work continues on the new Drinking Water Production, Transport and Distribution System in Concordia, Between rivers.
Also, the Lake Musters Regional Aqueduct Optimization work was reactivated, which includes the cities of Comodoro Rivadavia, Rada Tilly and Caleta Olivia in the provinces of Chubut Y Santa Cruz.

Likewise, through the Plan Argentina Hace, there are 464 works between completed, in progress, close to completion or in project status, which will create 4,843 direct and indirect jobs, which allowed expanding the 10% coverage so that 369,510 people access the service of drinking water.
Of the 464 works, 205 are carried out in the province of Buenos Aires; 108 in Entre Ríos; 33 in Santa Fe; 26 in Cordoba; 17 in Missions; 15 in Mendoza; 13 in Corrientes; 12 in Chubut; six in Salta; five in Chaco; four in Santa Cruz and San Luis; three in Jujuy, Río Negro and Catamarca; two in Neuquén and Tierra del Fuego; one in La Pampa, Tucumán and Formosa.
