This Sunday, November 10, a serious traffic accident took place in the morning, when a public service bus ended up rolling into an abyss on the El Tarra-Tibú road, in the Miramontes sector, Norte de Santander.
According to reports, the accident left one person dead and around 14 injured, who were treated at the scene by emergency teams and taken to care centers.

A video shared on social networks shows the state of the vehicle, which was overturned over a river. The images also capture several people who, bravely, helped the passengers trapped inside the bus.

So far, the authorities have not issued an official statement on the causes of the accident, but it is expected that in the coming hours details will be given about the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
Accident on the Curumaní-San Roque road, Cesar
On the other hand, in the afternoon of Saturday, another traffic accident was recorded on the Curumaní-San Roque road, in the department of Cesar. This incident involved a bus from the Brasilia company and a tractor-trailer. According to the first versions, the bus driver tried to avoid a tractor-trailer, which invaded the lane while transporting corn, causing the collision.
The crash left eight people injured, who were treated by ambulances that arrived at the scene. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. The bundles of corn that had fallen from the tractor-trailer were collected by local residents, while the emergency services carried out the rescue of the injured. The bus had left Bogotá, and although the accident was of great magnitude, the authorities confirmed that there were no human losses.
