Attorney General Tarek William Saab reported through his social media account X that he appointed the 9th National Prosecutor’s Office with jurisdiction in homicide matters, to “investigate and punish” the criminal acts committed by subjects Anthony Vega and Jhon Álvarez of the far-right party Vente Venezuela.
According to prosecutor Saab in his post, last Friday, July 19, both subjects, in the evening hours, together with other people yet to be identified, attacked opposition deputy Inacio Da Costa in the UCV parking lot, “whom trying to hit him in the jugular, they hit him with a liquor bottle on the head and arms,” the message says.
According to the story, during the attack, ex-convict Anthony Vega shouted to his victim: “that he didn’t care about killing him since he had just gotten out of prison.”
According to the deputy Da Costa in the account of his social network in X, Vega managed to hit him (3) stab wounds in the arm and one in the back,
It should be noted that on Saturday, Saab also announced through his account on the social network X the assignment of the 19th National Prosecutor’s Office to begin the investigation for an alleged “False positive” made by the opposition leader, also from the party Come VenezuelaMaría Corina Machado, after reporting alleged attacks on the vehicles she uses to get around in Barquisimeto.
