Public Ministry summons Gónzalez Urrutia for the second time for this Tuesday

The former candidate must testify regarding his alleged responsibility in crimes of usurpation of functions, forgery of public documents, criminal association and conspiracy, among others.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office summoned former candidate Edmundo González Urrutia for the second time to give a statement this Tuesday, August 27 at 10 a.m.

The information was disclosed by the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, and reflected in the account of the Public Ministry on the social network Instagram along with the image of the second summons issued this Monday.

The communication indicates that González Urrutia must respond “in relation to the facts that this Office is investigating, related to the publication and maintenance of the website https://www.resultadosconvenezuela.com”

In this regard, the document specifies that the former right-wing candidate is summoned to give statements regarding his alleged responsibility in the crimes of: usurpation of functions, forgery of public documents, instigation to disobedience of laws, computer crimes, criminal association and conspiracy.

As you may recall, the Public Prosecutor’s Office issued a summons last Saturday to González Urrutia who was due to appear today. Monday, August 26 at 10 in the morning.

The receipt published this Monday by the Public Prosecutor’s Office shows that it was received at 10:50 in the morning.

The document specifies that González Urrutia must appear at the headquarters of the Public Prosecutor’s Office located in La Candelaria in Caracas on Tuesday at ten in the morning to give statements regarding the criminal case he is pursuing.
