The Public Ministry launched an investigation for the case of school violence that occurred at the Loyola Gumilla School in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state. This was reported this Friday by Nicolás Maduro’s prosecutor, Tarek William Saab.
“Appointed Prosecutor 9th edo. Bolívar to initiate an investigation related to the acts of school violence at the Colegio Loyola Puerto Ordaz. Where a minor was subjected to physical injury and psychological damage, ”Saab posted on her Twitter account.
The official also indicated that the Public Ministry will sanction in an “exemplary” manner the acts of harassment that “generate psychological trauma and school dropout.”

Through social networks, the video in which the aggression was recorded, which was recorded by the same students of the aforementioned school, went viral. In the clip you can see how a high school student kicks another one who was lying on the floor at least twice. He parried a first kick with his hands, but the second was caught near the head.
Public Ministry investigates school violence in Bolívar
For their part, representatives of the Loyola Gumilla School assured that they are aware of what happened and will take the corresponding measures.
“We are working with the Ministry of Education and the School Ombudsman to address the situation of aggression that involved some of our students. As an educational institution, we take pedagogical measures that reinforce dialogue and peaceful solutions,” the school said on its social networks.
