The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced that the Public Ministry has served two million 115 thousand 860 people during his seven years and three months of management at the head of the institution that guarantees legality in the country.
The information was released by the Public Ministry through a post published on its Instagram account. “That deserves strong applause because we even thought we could reach more than two million in December. (…) I want to thank the National Assembly because I trust in our ratification last week,” said Saab.
From Plaza Bolívar in the Chacao municipality, the head of the criminal action explained that within the framework of the program “The Public Ministry Attends your Complaint in the Parish” has provided attention to 11,374 people throughout the country; 573 complaints have been collected; 9,304 free orientations have been offered, in addition to 487 requests for expediting cases and 584 requests for social assistance.
In this sense, the senior official commented that in the complementary program “The Public Ministry Goes to your Community” (which takes place every Wednesday) it has served a total of 53,737 people; and received five thousand 895 complaints.
These figures, which add up to street justice programs, leave a total of 65,111 people served. Added to this are the people who visited tax offices throughout the national territory to reach more than two million citizens.
Regarding the tour in Chacao, Saab commented that the Municipal Market was visited; the Andrés Bello Municipal School; the More Light Educational Unit; the headquarters of the Municipal Police, in addition to the Sambil and Merpoeste shopping centers.
