The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported on Wednesday the creation of the 98th National Prosecutor’s Office, attached to the General Directorate for Human Rights, to address issues related to the sexually diverse community.
With this there are already five specialized prosecutors, the 98th and 63rd National prosecutors to deal with labor situations, 60th National that deals with agrarian matters, 91st deals with indigenous people and 18th related to intellectual property.
Saab also reported that a total of 74 cases of bullying in Venezuela have been handled from January 2022 to date.
To prevent them, he said, the National Plan for the Prevention of School Harassment has been implemented, which will be applied throughout the year in educational centers.
He indicated that the National Plan for the Prevention of School Harassment has been implemented in each educational center in the country, which will be carried out throughout the year with the accompaniment of prosecutors from the Superior Prosecutor’s Office of each region together with directors and relatives of students.

“This plan will last the whole year and then we will take stock,” Saab said.
He recalled that to date three cases known on social networks have been prosecuted and begun to prosecute after confirming that the physical and emotional damage to children and adolescents, as well as to special people.
The cases
The first case, known on May 4 and occurred in the Teresian School of the El Paraíso parish, Caracas, where one adolescent hit another, for which the 117th Prosecutor’s Office of Caracas, with jurisdiction in the Criminal Responsibility System, was commissioned. of the Adolescents to investigate.
The second case occurred on April 27, involving a 14-year-old adolescent who dealt several blows to another 13-year-old adolescent, at the Loyola Gumilla School in Puerto Ordaz.
For the case, the 10th Prosecutor of Bolívar was commissioned with jurisdiction in the penal system of responsibility of adolescents who determined after the investigation that the victim had ecchymotic bruises and excoriations distributed on the left side of the neck, fronto-temporal region. left and left elbow, having a healing period of 10 days.
The third case relates you to a video broadcast on social networks on May 4, where 5 15-year-olds, two 14-year-olds and one 13-year-old are observed physically assaulting Ginneth Mas and Rubí Parra, 30 years old. age, who suffers from intellectual development disorder or Down syndrome.
For the case, the 31st Prosecutor with competence in the Criminal System of Responsibility of Adolescents was commissioned, who on May 9 held an indictment hearing at the prosecutor’s office for the two 14-year-old adolescents and one 15-year-old female. age, for the crime of intentional personal injury.
In addition, another 13-year-old adolescent was referred to the competent Protection Council, while the fifth 15-year-old aggressor has escaped the process, and it is presumed that her parents sent her to Colombia.
The Prosecutor recalled that a bill to Prevent, Punish and Address School Harassment of Children and Adolescents was presented to the National Assembly (AN).
Among the proposals, the right of children and adolescents to free care and assistance programs, especially in mental health, is requested, as well as the rights of children, adolescents and parents to request a change of environment or educational spaces before the authorities.
Air traffic controllers
