Public media working conditions will be reviewed

The Federal Government is in a process of reviewing working conditions in public media, because almost all workers are hired by fees, without economic and social benefits, and in some cases it has been so for many years, President Claudia Sheinbaum reported.

During his conference yesterday in the National Palace, he ruled out that there are economic problems or lack of resources for the payment of wages to workers. The above, in reference to the delay registered in Channel 11.

He said the problem originated from administrative issues related to contractual modalities, but it was already resolved and on Tuesday the pending payments will be made.

The president said that this will not be repeated and insisted that the government has sufficient economic resources to deal with their obligations with workers, as well as to strengthen work in public media and improve working conditions.

He insisted on rejecting that the federal government in front of some financial crisis. If so, he said, the peso would not have the current strength against the dollar.
