Last Saturday, Cubans residing in Managua confronted PNR agents who assaulted a teenager in the same queue where the pregnant woman was. According to the information and videos shared on social networksthe Police would have thrown the pregnant woman to the ground when intervening in a fight that broke out in a long queue to buy food.

“A police officer was sent with a pregnant woman. He knocked her to the ground, he went crazy. He sprayed, took out the gun and you know what hit him. They had to ask for reinforcement”, indicated the group of Facebook “The Guasimas.Managua.Cuba”.

The same publication indicates that the woman was transferred to the polyclinic.

In the recordings, the violence of the police against an adolescent who defended the pregnant woman is also observed. The young man was thrown to the ground and kicked by one of the officers.

Immediately, many of those present attacked the police officers and their excessive aggressiveness. To stop them, the soldiers fired pepper spray and threatened with their weapons.

After this Sunday’s tweet from the Municipal Directorate of Public Health of Arroyo Naranjo, the GFree Cuban Medical Award critical that a pregnant woman had to be “in those infernal queues and under the stress of the fights and the police siege.”

“What is the future that awaits that child and all Cuban children? What is he going to feed him with? What do you wear and wear? Yes, he is safe now, but what about afterwards?” the group wondered.
