Public Health reports 512 new infections by COVID-19

Dominican Republic registers 3,111 active cases by COVID-19according to the epidemiological bulletin of the Ministry of Public Health this Saturday.

The health authorities report that the positivity of the last four weeks stands at 12.07%, and that during yesterday’s day they detected 512 new infections.

Bulletin number 863 indicates that 99 people are hospitalized in stable conditions due to the disease, 17 in intensive care units, while one is connected to a ventilator.

Public Health indicates that there were no reports of deaths in the last 24 hours, so that to date the country has 4,383 deaths. The lethality is situated at 0.70%.
