Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public health reported this Thursday 82 new cases of Covid-19 and zero deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to bulletin number 973, issued by the National Epidemiology Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health, the total number of deaths is 4,384 while the accumulated cases amount to 648,216.
According to the aforementioned report, 499 remain active, while 643,333 have recovered from the virus and 3,074,795 have been ruled out by laboratory tests.
In the last 24 hours, 2,030 tests have been carried out, of which 735 are PCR and 1,295 are antigenic for a total of 3,723,011 samples processed.
Daily positivity stands at 6.35%, and in the last four weeks at 1.71%.
The fatality rate is 0.68% and the mortality per million inhabitants stands at 419. 58.
The Hospital Network has 2,373 COVID beds of which 9 are occupied, for 0.4 percent, while in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds and system ventilators, no person is connected.
