The Ministry of Public Health reported this Friday 263 active cases of COVID-19 in Dominican Republic in its epidemiological bulletin number 953.
According to the report of General Directorate of Epidemiology (DIGEPI) positivity in the last four weeks stands at 1.21%.
The document adds that 39 new cases of coronavirus were detected yesterday and there were no reports of deaths in the last 24 hours.
To date, 4,384 people have died from the disease in the DR, and the lethality is 0.68%.
Yesterday, 1,597 covid tests were processed, of which 580 were PCR and 1,017 antigenic.

The bulletin indicates that three people are admitted in stable conditions for COVID-193 in the intensive care unit, while a patient is connected to a ventilator.
