Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) reported this Thursday that in 2024 the maternal and infant deaths recorded a decrease in the country’s hospitals.
As for the maternal deathsone case was reported corresponding to a woman of Haitian nationality, while, on the same date last year, the accumulated total was 161 deaths.
In the case of the infant deathsthe accumulated to date is 2,056 deaths, a significant decrease compared to the 2,901 registered in the same period of 2023.
