In this sense, the deputy Jesús Faría stressed that it is the revolutionary forces “the ones that have assumed the defense of the Homeland in all the scenarios that have arisen during these 24 years.”
For his part, the vice president of the Permanent Commission on Internal Policy of the AN, deputy Julio García Zerpa indicated that “the consultation of this law is based on the protection and safeguarding of the assets of the Republic, dispossessed assets amounting to more than seven billion dollars. This is an initiative of the Executive Branch, so we are advancing in its discussion urgently and it will soon be approved”.
For this consultation, a mixed commission was appointed, which will be chaired by the president of the AN’s Permanent Commission on Internal Policy, deputy God given hair, as well as parliamentarians: Ilenia Medina, Oriana Lucia Osio Noblott, Julio García Zerpa, Timoteo Zambrano, Roy Daza, Jesús Faría, Ramón Lobo, and Oscar Rondero Rangel.
The bill contains two chapters and 11 articles, and its purpose is to protect the assets, rights and interests of the Republic and its entities, located abroad, against any act of alienation or disposition by persons who illegally They try to usurp them.
