Santo Domingo.- Within the framework of the celebrations of Mental Health Month, the clinical psychologist Juan Vargas Delgado, put his book into circulation: “De Couples a Life Partners: How to Create Relationships Significant and Lasting” a deeply relevant work in a world where the search for acceptance often erodes the construction of a healthy and integral self.
Aimed at both the general public and psychological professionals and therapists, this book is an essential guide to fostering healthy and transformative relationships, while promoting the idea that a healthy relationship is based on equality, where both partners the couple are valued equally.
The Pedro Henríquez Ureña National Library was the setting for the presentation of the work, which has an approach that implies a fair distribution of responsibilities, mutual respect, and recognition of the individual value of each person in the relationship.
